Dennie Palmer Wolf is the Hiatt Professor of Education at Clark University and a senior research associate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Dennie has taught and worked in the field of public education for thirty years. She has been a classroom teacher for the K-graduate school level. More recently, as a researcher and writer, she has investigated issues of teaching, learning and assessment in the arts and humanities. Throughout her career, Dennie has examined issues of educational equity and quality. The focus of her current work is engaging students in the cultural and civic lives of their communities. She has published widely in the fields of literacy, arts education, assessment and access to quality.

Dennie holds an Ed.D. from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education.
